Macbook Pro A1398 Battery Fault
This week we had a 15″ Macbook Pro in our Adelaide Workshop. Unfortunately, it was not holding a charge long enough and would switch off mid-use.

Although it had only 340 charging cycles, it is typical behaviour of batteries that are predominantly used on a charger their whole life to deplete quickly.
Macbook Pro A1398 Battery Replacement Process

There is one solution for such failure, and it is a Macbook Battery Replacement in Adelaide.
New generation Macbook batteries are glued in. Remnoval require prying the cells out. This can be a challenging and risky procedure, as these cells are flammable. If we damage the pouch while removing, we can easily cause fire.

Once we pry out the battery, we need to clear the remaining glue. This allows new battery to fit nicely without any adhesion issues.

We glue the new battery and ensure it fits nicely.
As we can see also the Macbook needs a Service. To ensure longevity of the new Battery, we need to service the system. Also ensure it circulates air within with no obstruction.

Successful Macbook Pro A1398 Battery Replacement

This process is complete within a day in our Adelade Mac Repair Workshop, once we have the battery in stock.
Last step is to run battery tests and let it complete couple cycles. This way we insect for manufacturing faults.
